HAPPY (FLAUNT YOUR FLORALS) WEEKEND!

While we've had fairly comfortable temps here in northwest, I know the rest of the country has pretty much been melting this week...

Well, guess what? It's the weekend! So rid yourself of the workweek wardrobe, throw on a sheer, flowing, flowery dress and embrace the sunshine!

And have a little extra fun while you're at it. Dancing on tables? You can totally blame it on the heat.

Or better yet - get thee to the beach!

While I'll be running around getting ready for my trip, it won't be long until I'm enjoying some sunny beaches of my own. Have a fabulous weekend however you decide to beat the heat!

HAPPY WEEKEND...

The temperatures are slowly rising around here... I think it's time for me to perfect my 'almost summer' style...

A Panama hat will be required. As will white-on-white... the jacket only necessary for the cooler evenings...

I can't wait to host my first outdoor dinner party of the season... must get the patio in entertaining mode!

And I'll definitely be adding some high shine accessories to the white-on-white look for a beachy glam vibe. What are your must haves for this summer??

HAPPY HOLIDAY WEEKEND!

Here in the states, we're looking forward to a long holiday weekend that usually signifies the beginning of summer...



In Seattle, however, summer arrives the day after the 4th of July (no seriously... it kinda does), so I'm indulging in my this sunshine filled fantasy and crossing fingers for our temps to get above 65 this weekend!

Do you have any fabulous things on the agenda?? We're going to make our own fun around here with some DIY projects, shopping for clients, and photo shoot planning! Woop! Who says work can't be play!? See you lovelies on Tuesday!!

HAPPY (CLOWNIN' AROUND) WEEKEND!

I think a whole week of sunshine has officially gone to my head...


I am giddy with the weather (and life!) at the moment! While I still have piles of work facing me for the weekend, you better believe I'm going to take some time to sip a bit of champagne on the patio, soak in these beautiful days, and get a little bit silly.

Ahhh, Friday. I thought you'd never come! It's been a long week balancing travel and deadlines, and I'm looking forward to a fairly quiet little weekend...

Before I get to unpacking and weekend chores, I think a little sleeping in will be in order.

After that? I'm looking forward to some one-on-one time with a few very important ladies in my life! Setting the table for hours of conversation and catching up.

And, while I'm at it I'll do my best to put on some rose-colored glasses and make it a very happy little weekend! I wish the same to you!

HAPPY (FAMIGLIA) WEEKEND

Millions of us will be celebrating our mothers and, subsequently, our families this weekend...

It's been an interesting past few years for me watching more of my friends become mothers themselves. It's such a beautiful bond that I can't wait to hopefully have with my own family someday.

But what it's made me realize even more is how much mothers do, how much they give of themselves, how much they keep it together, day after day.

I'm so proud of all my friends who have grown (some instantly, some with more challenge) into the amazing mothers that they are.

And of course I'm so, so grateful for my own sweet mama who continues to drive me crazy with her constant questions, fill me up with her hugs, and surprise me with her unending support.

Don't forget to treat all the mamas in your life like queens this weekend! And to all of you mamas out there - a very Happy Mother's Day to you!

Happy Friday my loves!! I'm happy for a little holiday weekend - even though it completely snuck up on me! I'll be spending the day running around gathering the pieces together to try and create a colorful Easter tabletop based on my Monday color inspiration post!

We'll probably be dodging sunshowers on Sunday, dressed in our best, but I'm looking forward to a little family time! Especially Easter brunch...

After all my travel lately, you'd think I'd be happy to be home for a weekend (and I am!), but I can't help dreaming of a fresh, tropical getaway instead of this pile of catching up I have to do...

I think I've officially caught the summer bug - no wonder I've been posting on pool parties and bikinis all week! So, instead of looking out my window to what's sure to be a few rainy spring days ahead, I'm plastering my inspiration board with visions of sunshine and beaches and living in a little delusional world instead! You think it'll help me get through my emails??

HAPPY (APRIL) WEEKEND!

My my... how do these months keep speeding by? April already??

Does that mean more sunshine and green trees in my life? I certainly hope so! If I'm lucky, I'll get my fill of it in North Carolina as I'm heading off to High Point Market today!


I'll be dashing from showroom to showroom, booth to booth, to take in all the new products and trends, and will (of course) share all my favorites with you! I have a feeling there will also be quite a few fun parties to attend...

It will no doubt be another whirlwind of a trip - I'll do my best to keep up around here! Happy happy spring, and here's to the start of a new month!

My weekend took a quick turn from plans of work to a little getaway east of the mountains...

Something I've been missing in my life the last year? A little spontaneity!

HAPPY WEEKEND...

Back from a lovely little trip and ready to start planning...

I think I'll use this weekend for refocusing and refreshing as I get ready to dive back into work next week! I'm so thankful and happy to be able to spend my days focusing on coco+kelley full time again. And, you know what that means - only bigger and better things to come around here! Can't wait to get this party started.

HAPPY ADVENTURES!

Today marks another very big turn for me in my life - leaping with faith (and fingers crossed) into the next great adventure...

I'm saying goodbye today to my fantastic job as a merchandiser at Anthropologie, which I am so sad to let go of. I'm going to miss the amazingly creative, genuine and loving girls that I've worked with for the past year so much! But, the time has come for me to refocus my passion and time on building coco+kelley into the company I know it can be! Not to mention, I'm really ready to plunge into my role as Market Editor at Rue.

It's always scary to leave behind the security of a real job to strike out on your own, but I've been here before and it was always worth it in the end. Thank you all for your love and support of coco+kelley and I can't wait to share this great adventure with you!
