COCO+KELLEY SPONSOR: ANNETTE TATUM

I've always enjoyed Annette Tatum's skill for turning inspiration into product, and I'm so thrilled to have her as a sponsor here on coco+kelley! Even more exciting, though, is the launch of her online shop that continues to expand from bedding for the little ones all the way up to grownups, and lovely home decor accents.

Annette draws her inspiration from everywhere, but this collection in particular was drawn from her California roots - a perfect mix Sand & Sky.

What Annette is most well-known for may be her translation of fashion to interiors! If you've picked up her book, "The Well Dressed Home" then you've seen her process in action. It's one of my favorites, and I highly recommend it. Here, she's taken a Retro Bohemian style and translated it into seriously fun bedding!

There's no better place to look for inspiration than the past, which is why this vintage collection is my favorite. It creates a soothing palette and I love the touches of gold!

Which palette and style suits you best?

For more of Annette's inspirations, check out her blog! I always find it so interesting to read about the creative process of designers, and she does a wonderful job showcasing it.

FRED SHAND FOR ANTHROPOLOGIE

One of my most favorite collaborators at Anthropologie is the designer Fred Shand - I'm completely enamoured by her graphic yet organic designs. So I was really excited to see this exclusive collection created with artists from Dehli, London and NYC...

The quilts (there are also pillows) are true pieces of art (and priced accordingly!). I wouldn't hesitate to hang one on my wall, if I could afford to! They're absolutely dreamy...

Chic Sponsor: Julia B

There is nothing I love more than luxurious linens so I was very excited when Julia B came on board as a sponsor.  Julia Berger started Julia B in 2008 to provide a custom product of fresh design and exquisite quality at an accessible price.  What's great is that Julia had the education and experience to help her with this endeavor.  Her mother is Japanese and her father is American, so Julia grew up in Tokyo and San Francisco. She attended Brown University and studied textiles at the Cleveland Institute of Art in Florence. She speaks five languages, and has worked in Europe, Asia and the US. She worked for Donna Karan and Calvin Klein developing the Japanese market before starting Julia B.

The fabrics are sourced from the finest mills in Europe and the hand embroidery is done in Vietnam and Madagascar by women-led businesses where the French legacy produces the finest embroidery craftsmanship in the world.  In addition to the basic designs, multitude of different color threads and monogram styles, Julia B will work with clients to develop personalized designs. Celerie Kemble is just one of their many fans and says, "the collection is beautiful, the delivery time is unreal. I am so excited to have found Julia B.!"

You can order Julia B bedding and accessories online or visit them in their Stamford showroom.  They will also be exhibiting at the New York International Gift Fair and can be found at Booth #45077 at Pier 94.  I could tell just from the photos that the Julia B linens are fabulous but now I can't wait to finally feel them in person!  I am also looking forward to meeting the chic woman behind the chic collection!  See you there!
