COCO+KELLEY SPONSOR: CAMEO NOUVEAU

We have some pretty fantastic sponsors around here, but I'm really loving the selections at current sponsor Cameo Nouveau's pretty little shop...
cameo nouveau shop
The selections include both new and vintage, and are perfectly procured so you're not sifting through tons of product. The pillow is the perfect summer accent for a bit of playful color - I'm kinda wanting it for my currently all-white bed.  Jewelry from Vanessa Mooney and Trina Turk? Also a must! Heck, every little thing here is on my wishlist. But don't take my word for it - go check out their shop for yourself!

EVERY ROSE...

I'm not saying I'm cynical or anything... But, really, could there be a better gift of love than a golden cuff of thorns?

Plus, it's really just stunning. (PS - It also comes in a ring... I'm just sayin'.)

MINOUX: A LITTLE CIRCLE OF STYLE

Today was one of those days... woke up and dashed off to the DMV to replace my license (lost last weekend when it flew off the boat and into the lake!), ran home to meet up with my sister so I could speed her to the airport, back home for a quick lunch, then off to an eye appointment (horrible vision is a great excuse for new glasses!). And somewhere in there, I managed to style up this gorgeous little necklace...
minoux+pyramid+necklace+silver+gold
Just one of the very chic pieces at Minoux, sent to a circle of bloggers this week for us to all style up differently! I love seeing how everyone is doing it up differently. I thought I'd style something I could plan to wear in Austin this weekend, and this ensemble will definitely be packed!

Each blogger chose from a similar style that comes in different sizes and metals. The large pyramid caught my eye with its mix of gold and silver - the perfect size to be noticed, but small enough to still feel delicate. Plus... well, she hangs just right if you ask me. Sometimes a simple necklace is all you need for a little sex appeal (nuff said?).

To check out how all the other gals are doing it... click on through!

Monday - my style pill and honey kennedy
Tuesday - i am a greedy girl (love her!)
Wednesday - me, and you're already here, so thanks for stopping by!
Thursday - where the lovely things are
Friday - apartment 34 (my girl!) and squid

How would you wear it??

MORE BANG(LES) FOR YOUR BUCK

I've already confessed to you all my maxi-dress addiction for warm weather days, but I've got another little habit that goes along with it...
4118518788_e937572265_o
Bangles!! I love one or two on their own, or layered like crazy. And since I'm such a mix and matcher, I thought I'd pull together a few of my current faves that feature a great mesh of natural materials, shining gold, lucite and punches of black... and most of them won't break the bank!

Which styles would you go for? (Yes, 'all of them' is a perfectly acceptable answer.)

GINGHAM + MILITARY + PILES OF JEWELS

It's official. Two of my favorites are doing it, so you know it's good...
sterling style
atlantic-pacific
I love the way these fabulous ladies (Sterling Style and Atlantic-Pacific) layered up their preppy gingham with chunky jewels and masculine army jackets to toughen things up. Add in touch of this spring's hottest trends (open weave knits and florals) and you've got two seriously winning combinations. Do it up, girls!

LOVED

Happy Love Day, lovers...
valentine's collage coco+kelley
Whether single or coupled, today is an excellent excuse to be thankful for all the loves we have in our lives, wouldn't you agree?

Although... I have to say, if I were in the position to be asking for little love gifts, this would absolutely be at the top of my list...

RESOLUTIONS...

While I'm not usually a big believer in making tons of promises that you know will never be kept... I have to say I'm very into the idea of making some serious resolutions this year...
take a chance kate spade necklace coco kelley
While most of them have to do with the usual (save more money, lose more weight, and so on) my biggest one is really more about finding a new direction.

In 2009, I took a big leap in taking coco+kelley from a blog to a business, starting with my first interior and event clients. For me, 2010 was about growing and learning and building both personally and professionally. And now, I'm ready for new things in 2011. So many possibilities suddenly lay before me that it can be slightly paralyzing to actually make decisions. Which makes resolution #1 the courage to move myself forward in the next big direction... what will it be? A new city? New job? New passions? New travels? I hope by taking one step, the next will follow and I'll find myself tumbling into new and exciting adventures once again!

And you, my loves?? What are your resolutions for the coming year?? Let's make some promises together!

C+K SPONSOR: STELLA & DOT

Whether we want to believe it or not, fall is slowly creeping in on us. While I'm definitely not ready to say goodbye to my summer sunshine, I am getting excited for some fall wardrobe planning, which inevitably includes a visit to Stella & Dot for fabulous accessories! I spent some time browsing their new fall/winter collection for some inspirational pieces to add to my shopping list, and here's what I found...
s&d3
Loving the vintage style of these selections! I have a teensy bit of a crush on anything with ladybugs so, the earrings are too perfect for me to pass up. I love injecting quirky pieces like that into my repertoire! The enamel bangle is one of those styles that will compliment any outfit, and the brooch is quite ideal for adding to rich fall jackets and hats.
s&d2
Of course, there's always that part of me that loves a good dose of sparkle, and I have to say that these earrings are high on my list (and such a great price!). The necklace would look so good paired with a few that I already own, but would also be quite fab on its own!
s&d1
Every year I also try to add some more classic jewelry to the mix - especially for the holiday season! Each of these pieces would add so much to a little black dress, and I love that the brooch and bracelet both incorporate a hint of plum and mauve - two colors that are sure to be hot for fall.

Of course, there are many more styles on Stella & Dot that fit any season - like the stacking rings I wear everyday - so be sure to swing over there if you haven't lately to hunt down some goodies! Which pieces are your favorites? I'm always curious to hear what others are drawn to and what they'd pair it with...

MARANON

I've waxed poetic on my small obsession with geometric facets before, but these amazing threaded beauties by Maranon go way, way beyond...
Sweet, gorgeous, goodness, I'm in love!!!

C+K SPONSOR: STELLA & DOT

I remember when I was a little girl that one year for Mother's Day I dragged my dad through store after store looking for the perfect pair of earrings to wrap up for Mom. While our childhood memories aren't always accurate, I remember it taking what felt like hours before I found a pair I loved! Well, this year should be much easier thanks to sites like Stella & Dot!

I don't know about your mom, but mine likes her jewelry fairly simple. If you're looking for a piece she can wear everyday, then something along the lines of these pieces might work best...
Of course, if she's more of a statement piece gal (like me!) then maybe she'll appreciate some of these pieces that I've been eyeing for my Mexico trip! They'll be perfect going into the summer...
Whatever your taste, I always find something to swoon over at Stella & Dot - if you haven't checked out the site lately, I'd recommend it! Time to do a little summer shopping!

Chic in NY: Roberta Freymann by Olivia Palermo

The Roberta Freymann shop in New York reminds me a little of Kathryn Ireland's showroom in Los Angeles so I thought it would be a good time to let you know about what's going at the store involving fashionista Olivia Palermo. If you've watched The City on MTV, then you know that Olivia is a big fan of jewelry, especially statement necklaces. She also shopped at Roberta Freymann for her job at Elle magazine so it comes as no surprise that she is now designing necklaces for the store. The line is called Roberta Freymann by Olivia Palermo and ranges in price from $175-$300. Also, the marketing photos were shot at Café Cluny, my favorite place for lunch in the West Village. Hop on down there after you pick up a necklace!

LOVE IS IN THE AIR...

I know I'm a little ahead of myself with this post, but for the first time in years I'm actually excited for Valentines Day. Not because of the holiday (it makes me cringe), but because it will be the one-year anniversary of my first date with the boy! So, needless to say, I'm actually looking forward to celebrating...
Combining my love for these spring trend colors (from pantone) and a peach+red Valentine's day combo, I'd love to start the evening in a fabulous dress, and end up in those adorable and comfy ruffle cami and shorts. Preferably with some love notes, jewelry, and pillow talk in between! So, thank you for indulging my slight twitterpation with this usually despised holiday this year my dears... it will be special one for me!
